I'm trying to learn how to draw scenery/environments better.. this here be one of my experiments. I find I can get the general lighting and composition down, but when I comes to adding in the details... I fail at that xD I try, but the details don't look as good as the implied strokes that came before 'em. So.. I spatter some random brushes, slap a texture on, aaaaand yeh... Needa work on that.
When I painted this, I had a forest near my home in mind.. a tiny ravine, not very big. When I was little I used to go on crazy adventures in that forest and make forts and stuff... good times.
